When I make these decorations, I take the off cuts from my upholstery commissions, that would normally be put in for landfill waste and use as much as I can, the filling is also excess that has been trimmed away from particular items, it is purely the threads and ribbons that have been chosen specifically for each decoration. Just trying to make the most of what is too hand and reduce my waste to land fil.
This set of green & cream decorations consists of 2 hearts with a green velvet ribbon bow and a hand made tassel and 1 mini stocking, with trailing ribbon detail. Both have been stitched with a graduated green embroidery thread around the outer edge and the same thread has been used so that they can be hung.
Measurements approx. Heart 12cm x 11cm not including tassel. Stocking 10cm x 9cm
